Why in the world I am doing this? Well for fame, fortune, a sordid divorce, and kids that will resent me by the time they're in junior high school, of course. Actually, this blog started as a way for me to document trying to conceive a baby girl in my boy dominated world. But, since the Universe basically said "FU, I do what I want" by sending another wonderful boy my way, I just try to surrender to the chaos and share my honest (read: blunt) opinions about parenting. I'm a holistic, home birthing, meat eating, cheese loving, advocate for natural parenting. If you can appreciate what I write, thank you. If you think I'm a crass, but intelligent oxymoron, the line forms around the block, take a number.
I've appeared in 2 mom-oriented segments for The Nate Berkus Show (please note my kitchen IS NOT nearly as bad as it looked on tv) and have sat on the Holistic Moms Network Birthing panel.
