Now that it has finally aired I can share with you all the AWESOMENESS that was my trip to NYC for a taping of the Nate Berkus show! I was contacted through my blog and couldn't have more excited about my first time on television. I feel so lucky and blessed to have been chosen. It has been my dream since I was a little girl to be on television, so this was an amazing opportunity. Nate was gracious and super cute, but most importantly I got the feeling that he genuinely cares about the people on his show and those watching. I know now for sure that TV is where I'm meant to be! Bring on the job offers! Check out some behind the scenes pics below!
On the train down to NYC trying diligently to master a crossword puzzle, I think I got 2 whole words.
Arriving at Penn Station, baby bump in tow.
My BFF Vicki came along for moral support, and possibly a free trip to NYC ;-)
Oh yeah ridin in style! We're not lame at all...
The view from our room...concrete jungle at its best!
Kim, my NYC diva, stopped by to visit, love her!
Vicki really enjoying her comfy bed...
OK we BOTH enjoyed it!
On our way from Crumbs Bake Shop, way too excited about my Caramel Apple Cupcake!
Relaxing mani-pedi, preshow necessity!
My first dressing room. Yes I did a girlie happy dance and clapped vigorously, lol.
I was trying to kiss Nate, not Elizabeth Edwards, haha.
Me after I gained my composure
I could get used to this.
Striking a pose before my big debut!
Sorry for the ghettoness of the first segment (I recorded it from my DVR with a camera)
Part 2 is much better quality and posted below.
